# BitterCheckout BitterCheckout adds Stripe Checkout to an existing product site while the product keeps control of access and fulfillment. Canonical site: https://bittercheckout.com/ The GitHub source link is omitted until publication safety review, public visibility, and live route behavior all verify. ## Canonical Pages - [BitterCheckout home](https://bittercheckout.com/): Product overview, checkout handoff loop, setup path, and trust boundaries. - [Widget](https://bittercheckout.com/widget.js): Embeddable checkout widget. - [Health](https://bittercheckout.com/up): Runtime health and release surface. ## Markdown Alternates - [Home Markdown](https://bittercheckout.com/index.md) - [Full Markdown bundle](https://bittercheckout.com/llms-full.txt) ## Product Boundary BitterCheckout owns checkout configuration, the widget embed, Stripe Checkout session creation, webhook observation, event records, and signed callbacks. Stripe processes payment. BitterCheckout does not own credit balances, entitlements, Hub identity, credential custody, accounting, refunds, support, or product fulfillment. ## Deployment Boundary This app repo is source-shaped and deployed to the live BitterGrid service, but it is still not public-source-approved. Private account routes are marked noindex in HTML and HTTP robots headers, and the GitHub repository remains private pending a marketing split or dedicated app-repo publication scrub.
